These Terms & Conditions govern your use of The Adhisha website and your participation in any teacher training, retreat, workshop, short course, event, or other programme offered by The Adhisha ("Programme").
By submitting an enquiry, application, booking, payment, or participating in any Programme, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
2.1 Eligibility
Participants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time their Programme begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing by The Adhisha.
- Complete all required application forms accurately and honestly.
- Be physically and mentally fit to participate in the Programme they have enrolled in.
- Inform The Adhisha of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, accessibility requirements, or other circumstances that may affect their participation.
The Adhisha reserves the right to decline or cancel an enrolment where it reasonably believes a Programme may not be suitable for a participant or where required information has not been disclosed.
2.2 Applications & Enrolment
Submitting an application does not guarantee admission.
Enrolment is confirmed only when:
- Your application has been accepted;
- The required deposit or programme fee has been received; and
- Any additional documentation requested by The Adhisha has been submitted.
The Adhisha reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its discretion.
2.3 Fees & Payments
Programme fees are published on our website and are subject to change without prior notice until a booking has been confirmed.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- A deposit is required to secure your place.
- The remaining balance must be paid by the due date communicated during the booking process.
- Failure to make payment by the specified due date may result in cancellation of your booking.
- Any applicable bank charges, payment gateway fees, currency conversion fees, or international transfer charges are the responsibility of the participant.
2.4 Payment Methods
The Adhisha accepts payments through the payment methods made available during the booking process, including major international credit and debit cards where supported by our payment service provider.
Participants are responsible for any bank charges, foreign transaction fees, currency conversion charges, payment gateway fees, or similar costs imposed by their financial institution or payment provider. Such charges are separate from the Programme fees payable to The Adhisha.
All Programme fees shall be paid in the currency specified at the time of booking.
2.5 Programme Changes
While every effort is made to deliver each Programme exactly as described, The Adhisha reserves the right to make reasonable changes where necessary.

2.6 Attendance & Certification
Certification requirements vary depending on the Programme.
For teacher trainings and other certification programmes, participants will be required to:

- 90% attendance is mandatory
- Complete practical assessments
- Complete written assignments
- Meet academic and participation requirements
Certificates will only be issued where all applicable requirements have been successfully completed.
Late arrival, extended absence, or early departure may affect certification eligibility.
2.7 Health & Medical Responsibility
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate.
Before arrival, participants should disclose any relevant:

The Adhisha is not responsible for any illness, injury, allergic reaction, or medical condition arising from information that was not disclosed prior to participation.

2.8 Travel & Insurance
Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for:
- Flights
- Visas
- Travel documentation

- Airport transfers (unless otherwise stated)
The Adhisha strongly recommends that all participants obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering cancellations, illness, injury, theft, and travel disruptions.
2.9 Accommodation
Accommodation is provided only where included within the selected Programme.
Participants are expected to:
- Respect accommodation facilities.
- Maintain reasonable cleanliness.
- Respect quiet hours and fellow participants.
- Report any damage immediately.
Participants may be held responsible for the cost of repairing damage caused through negligence or intentional misuse.
2.10 Personal Property
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings throughout their stay.
The Adhisha accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property, valuables, electronic devices, cash, passports, or travel documents.
2.11 Photography, Video & Media
Photographs and videos may be captured during Programmes for educational, promotional, or marketing purposes.
Where reasonably practicable, participants will be informed when photography or filming is taking place.
If you do not wish to appear in photographs or promotional material, please notify The Adhisha in writing before your Programme begins.
2.12 Intellectual Property
All course materials, manuals, presentations, videos, photographs, branding, website content, and educational resources provided by The Adhisha remain the intellectual property of The Adhisha unless otherwise stated.
Participants may use these materials for personal educational purposes only.
They may not be reproduced, distributed, recorded, published, shared, uploaded, modified, sold, or used commercially without prior written permission.
2.13 Website Use
By using our website, you agree not to:

Where participation is terminated due to misconduct, refunds will not be issued.

Participation in yoga and related activities involves inherent physical risks.
By participating, you acknowledge that you voluntarily accept responsibility for participating within your own physical abilities and limitations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Adhisha shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss, damage, injury, delay, or expense arising from participation in any Programme, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
2.16 Force Majeure
The Adhisha shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, interruptions, or failure to perform its obligations where such events arise from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Floods
- Earthquakes
- Fire
- Pandemics
- Government restrictions
- War
- Civil unrest
- Industrial disputes
- Power failures
- Transportation disruptions
- Acts of God
Where reasonably possible, The Adhisha will communicate any changes promptly and explore suitable alternatives.
2.17 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
The Adhisha is owned and operated by Adhisha Wellness LLP, a Limited Liability Partnership registered in India.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions, your participation in any Programme, your use of this website, or any services provided by The Adhisha shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.
2.18 Changes to These Terms
The Adhisha reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy
At The Adhisha, we intentionally keep our programmes batch size small to provide a personalised and immersive learning experience. Once a place has been reserved, we begin planning faculty, accommodation, meals, resources, and other arrangements specifically for each participant.
For this reason, our Refund & Cancellation Policy has been designed to be fair to both our participants and our community. We encourage you to read this policy carefully before confirming your booking.
3.1 Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only after:
- Your application has been accepted (where applicable);
- The required deposit or programme fee has been received; and
- Any additional documentation requested by The Adhisha has been submitted.
Until these requirements have been met, The Adhisha reserves the right to release your place without notice.
3.2 Booking Deposit
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place in any Programme unless otherwise stated.
As places are limited and reserved specifically for each participant, all booking deposits are non-refundable, irrespective of the reason for cancellation.
3.3 Programme Fees
The balance of your Programme fee must be paid by the due date communicated during the booking process or on your day 1 at the time of checking in.
Failure to make payment by the specified due date may result in cancellation of your booking and release of your reserved place.
3.4 Transfers to Another Programme
Where possible, The Adhisha may, at its sole discretion, permit a participant to transfer their enrolment to another scheduled Programme.
Any transfer:
- Is subject to availability.
- Must be requested in writing.
- May only be permitted once.
- Must be used within six (6) months of the original Programme commencement date unless otherwise agreed.
- May be subject to an administrative fee.
Approval of transfer requests remains entirely at the discretion of The Adhisha.
3.5 Failure to Attend (No-Show)
Participants who fail to arrive on the scheduled commencement date without prior written notice will be considered a "No-Show."
No refunds, credits, or transfers will be provided for participants who do not attend their Programme.
3.6 Late Arrival, Early Departure & Missed Sessions
No refunds, credits, or partial reimbursements will be provided for:
- Late arrival;
- Early departure;
- Missed classes or activities;
- Voluntary withdrawal;
- Unused accommodation or meals; or
- Any services not utilised during the Programme.
3.7 Withdrawal After Programme Commencement
Once a Programme has commenced, no refunds will be issued if a participant chooses to withdraw for personal, medical, professional, travel-related, or any other reason.
This includes voluntary withdrawal, dismissal under the Code of Conduct, or inability to complete the Programme.
3.8 Cancellation by The Adhisha
The Adhisha reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel a Programme where reasonably necessary, including but not limited to:
- Insufficient enrolments;
- Faculty illness or unforeseen circumstances;
- Safety concerns;
- Government restrictions;
- Force Majeure events; or
- Any circumstance beyond our reasonable control.
Where The Adhisha cancels a Programme before commencement, participants will be offered either:
- A full refund of the Programme fees paid to The Adhisha; or
- A transfer of their booking to another available Programme.
This refund shall represent the participant's sole remedy.
The Adhisha shall not be responsible for any additional costs or losses incurred, including but not limited to flights, visas, accommodation booked independently, travel insurance, transportation, currency exchange losses, or other personal expenses.
3.9 Force Majeure
Where a Programme is affected by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of The Adhisha, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, public health emergencies, government restrictions, war, civil unrest, transportation disruptions, power failures, or other Force Majeure events, The Adhisha reserves the right to modify, postpone, reschedule, or cancel the Programme.
Where reasonably possible, suitable alternative arrangements or credits may be offered; however, refunds will be considered in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances at the time.
3.10 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.
Refunds will generally be processed within 14–21 business days following written approval, although processing times may vary depending on banks and payment providers.
Any bank charges, payment gateway fees, international transfer fees, currency conversion costs, or similar charges are non-refundable and remain the responsibility of the participant.
3.11 Exceptional Circumstances
The Adhisha understands that unforeseen circumstances may occasionally arise.
While this Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings, The Adhisha reserves the sole discretion to consider exceptional requests on a case-by-case basis.
Any decision made under exceptional circumstances shall not constitute a precedent or create an obligation to grant similar requests in the future.
3.13 Changes to this Policy
The Adhisha reserves the right to amend this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.
The version published on our website at the time of booking shall apply to your enrolment unless otherwise required by applicable law.
5. Code of Conduct
At The Adhisha, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where every participant has the opportunity to learn, grow, and feel welcome.

By joining any Programme, you agree to contribute positively to this shared environment and to treat fellow participants, faculty, staff, and the local community with kindness, courtesy, and respect.
The following Code of Conduct applies to all participants throughout their time with The Adhisha.
5.1 Respect for Others
Participants are expected to:
- Treat fellow participants, faculty, staff, and visitors with courtesy and respect.
- Respect different cultures, beliefs, identities, and personal boundaries.
- Foster an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive learning environment.
- Communicate respectfully, both in person and online.
Harassment, intimidation, bullying, discrimination, abusive language, or any form of inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
5.2 Respect for the Learning Environment
To support the learning experience of all participants, we ask that you:
- Arrive on time for scheduled classes and activities.
- Participate respectfully and attentively.
- Keep mobile phones on silent during classes.
- Avoid unnecessary interruptions during teaching sessions.
- Follow instructions provided by faculty and staff.
5.3 Health & Safety
Participants are responsible for taking reasonable care of their own health and wellbeing throughout the Programme.
You agree to:
- Practise within your own abilities and physical limitations.
- Inform faculty of any injury or medical concern that may affect your participation.
- Follow reasonable health and safety instructions provided by The Adhisha.
- Respect emergency procedures and safety guidelines.
5.4 Respect for Property
Participants are expected to treat all accommodation, classrooms, facilities, equipment, and shared spaces with care and consideration.
Any damage caused through negligence, misuse, or intentional conduct may result in repair or replacement costs being charged to the participant.
5.5 Respect for Local Culture
As a yoga school rooted in the traditions of India, we encourage participants to approach the local culture, customs, spiritual spaces, and surrounding community with openness and respect.
When visiting temples, sacred sites, villages, or participating in cultural experiences organised by The Adhisha, participants are expected to behave respectfully and follow any guidance provided by faculty or staff.
5.6 Alcohol, Smoking & Illegal Substances
To maintain a safe, respectful, and focused learning environment, the following are strictly prohibited at all times during your participation in any Programme:
- Possession, use, distribution, or sale of illegal drugs or prohibited substances.
- Consumption of alcohol anywhere on The Adhisha campus or during any scheduled Programme activities.
- Attending classes, workshops, activities, or events while under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any substance that impairs judgement or participation.
- Smoking or vaping within classrooms, accommodation, dining areas, or any non-designated areas of the campus.
Any breach of this policy may be treated as serious misconduct and may result in immediate suspension or removal from the Programme without refund.
5.7 Campus Curfew
To support the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of all participants, a campus curfew is in place throughout the duration of your Programme.
Unless prior permission has been granted by The Adhisha, all participants are required to return to and remain within the campus premises by 9:00 PM each day.
Participants are expected to notify the appropriate member of staff of any emergency or unforeseen circumstance that may prevent them from returning by the designated time.
Repeated or serious breaches of the campus curfew may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the Programme without refund.
5.8 Photography, Recording & Privacy
Participants are encouraged to respect the privacy of others.
Photographs or videos of fellow participants, faculty, or staff should only be taken with their knowledge and consent.
Audio or video recording of classes, lectures, workshops, or course materials is not permitted unless prior written permission has been granted by The Adhisha.
5.9 Intellectual Property
All course materials, manuals, presentations, recordings, and educational resources remain the intellectual property of The Adhisha.
Participants may not reproduce, distribute, publish, upload, record, share, or commercially use any materials without prior written permission.
5.10 Appropriate Conduct
To maintain a safe and positive environment for everyone, participants must not engage in behaviour including, but not limited to:
- Harassment or discrimination.
- Violence or threatening behaviour.
- Theft or intentional damage to property.
- Possession or use of illegal substances.
- Repeated disruption of classes or Programme activities.
- Behaviour that places themselves or others at risk.
- Any unlawful activity.
5.11 Removal from a Programme
The Adhisha reserves the right to suspend or remove any participant whose behaviour is considered unsafe, unlawful, disruptive, or inconsistent with this Code of Conduct.
Where removal is necessary, the participant will remain responsible for any personal travel or accommodation arrangements, and no refund will be provided unless otherwise required by applicable law.
