100-HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING IN RISHIKESH

प्रारंभ

Begin Your Journey. Deepen Your Practice. Understand Your Body.

A 10-Night, 11-Day Immersion into the Foundations of Yoga

Yoga does not require you to have years of experience before you begin studying it deeply. It begins with curiosity—the curiosity to understand your body, your breath, your movement and the principles behind the practice.

The Adhisha 100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed for beginners, practitioners, travellers and aspiring teachers who want to explore yoga in a deeper and more structured way, but do not have the time to commit to a full month-long training.

Over 10 nights and 11 days, you will be immersed in a carefully designed curriculum combining traditional yogic foundations with anatomy, biomechanics, alignment, movement, practice and introductory teaching methodology.

This is not simply a condensed version of a 200-hour course. It is a focused foundation designed to give you the right beginning.

PURPOSE & ACCESSIBILITY

Why a 100-Hour TTC?

Why study 100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training at The Adhisha

Not every journey requires a month. Modern life does not always allow us to step away for four weeks.

Work, family, business, travel and personal responsibilities can make a month-long commitment difficult—even when the desire to study yoga is strong.

We created the 100-hour program for exactly this reason. It provides an opportunity to step away from your everyday routine, come to Rishikesh, immerse yourself in yoga and develop a deeper understanding of your practice within a more manageable timeframe.

INCLUSIVE & FOCUSED PATHWAYS

Who Is This Course For?

Whether seeking personal depth or early teaching foundations, this immersion meets you where you are.

Move beyond simply performing postures and understand anatomy, alignment, movement and the principles behind your practice.

03

04

OUR DISTINCT PHILOSOPHY

Why The Adhisha?

At The Adhisha, we believe yoga cannot be understood only by looking at a posture. Two people can perform the same asana and experience completely different things because their anatomy, proportions, mobility, strength and previous experiences are different.

Our approach brings together tradition, anatomy, biomechanics, awareness and practice. We teach you not only what a posture looks like, but how to understand the body performing it.

What Makes The Adhisha Different?

01

Anatomy-Based Yoga Education

Anatomy is connected directly to the practice, helping you understand how joints, muscles and movement patterns influence asana.

02

Understanding Over Imitation

Instead of asking how to make your posture look perfect, learn to ask what is happening in your body.

03

Tradition with a Modern Perspective

Respect the roots of yoga while developing a practical understanding through modern anatomy and biomechanics.

04

Practical Learning

Move continuously between theory, practice, observation and application throughout every module.

05

Rishikesh Experience

Study in the Himalayan foothills, surrounded by the Ganga, mountains and the living culture of authentic yoga.

06

Yoga Alliance Accredited

Our 100-Hour training is delivered by a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School, providing an authentic foundation that credits directly towards your full 200-Hour (RYT 200) pathway.

?

Do I want to understand yoga beyond physical postures?

?

Do I want to learn more about my body and movement?

?

Do I want to experience yoga education in Rishikesh?

?

Do I want to explore teaching without immediately committing to a month-long program?

?

Do I want to deepen my existing practice?

YOUR JOURNEY AHEAD

100 Hours Is a Beginning

The purpose of this course is not to tell you that you have completed your yoga journey. It is designed to help you discover how much more there is to explore.

For some students, the 100-hour course will deepen their personal practice. For others, it will inspire them to pursue the 200-hour teacher training. Some may continue toward advanced study in anatomy, alignment, movement or teaching. Others may simply return home with a different understanding of their body and their relationship with yoga.

The course gives you the foundation. You choose where the journey goes next.

THE CRADLE OF YOGA

Experience Rishikesh With The Adhisha

Rishikesh Ganga Experience with The Adhisha

Rishikesh is more than a location on a map. It is a place where yoga has been practiced, studied and passed through generations.

The rhythm of the Ganga, the Himalayan landscape, temple bells and the daily life of practitioners create an environment that naturally encourages reflection. Your experience at The Adhisha extends beyond the classroom.

Between practices and study sessions, you have the opportunity to experience Rishikesh—to walk beside the Ganga, explore the surrounding landscape, witness the rhythm of the city and experience the living culture of yoga.

Learn yoga where the journey feels alive.

FOOD & YOGIC NUTRITION

Nourish Your Body.
Support Your Practice.

Wholesome Yogic Food Preparation at The Adhisha

At The Adhisha, we believe that food is an important part of the yogic journey. During an intensive Yoga Teacher Training, your body needs nourishment that supports energy, digestion, recovery, concentration and consistent practice. Our meals are thoughtfully prepared to provide wholesome nutrition while keeping the food light, fresh and easy to digest. We follow a predominantly Satvik approach to food, while also incorporating suitable Rajasic elements when appropriate to support the physical demands of an intensive training program.

Three Fresh Meals Every Day

Students receive three freshly prepared vegetarian meals every day:

01 Breakfast
02 Lunch
03 Dinner

Our meals are prepared fresh with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients, balanced nutrition and variety, so that your daily diet remains nourishing and enjoyable throughout the course.

We aim to offer a different menu each day, giving students a varied experience rather than repeating the same meals throughout their stay.

Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten-Free Options

Vegetarian

Gluten-free options
Customized meals available

Our regular menu is vegetarian, with vegan and gluten-free options available at all three meals.

We understand that students come from different dietary backgrounds and may have specific nutritional requirements.

If you have a food allergy, intolerance or specific dietary requirement, please inform our team before your arrival.

Customized meals can be arranged at an additional cost, depending on the ingredients and preparation required.

THE YOGIC APPROACH TO FOOD

The Yogic Approach to Food

In Yoga, food is not viewed only as something that satisfies hunger. It is also considered an important part of how we care for the body, energy and mind. During your training, we encourage a mindful approach to eating—choosing food that is nourishing, balanced and supportive of your practice.

Our approach focuses on food that is:

SATVIK & RAJSIK UNDERSTANDING

Satvik & Rajsik Understanding

Students will also be introduced to the traditional yogic understanding of Sattva, Rajas and Tamas in relation to food and lifestyle.

Our intention is not to impose rigid dietary rules, but to help students understand their relationship with food and make more conscious choices.

Hydration is an important part of your daily practice. Throughout the day, students have access to fresh drinking water and regularly prepared infused or detox water and healthy beverages.

Depending on the season and availability, these may include:

  • Fresh infused water
  • Herbal drinks
  • Traditional Indian beverages
  • Fresh seasonal drinks
  • Other naturally prepared refreshments

Clean drinking water is available throughout the school.

Water dispensers/coolers are provided on every floor for convenient access.

We provide RO-purified drinking water, helping students stay hydrated safely throughout their training.

Students are also encouraged to carry and refill their own reusable water bottle to reduce unnecessary plastic consumption.

Your meals are scheduled around the rhythm of the training so that you have sufficient time to eat, digest, rest and prepare for your next practice.

We encourage students to develop mindful eating habits:

Eat slowly → Eat consciously → Nourish the body → Support digestion → Return to practice

Food at The Adhisha is therefore not simply accommodation support—it is part of creating a balanced yogic lifestyle during your 200-hour journey.

If you have:

  • Food allergies
  • Food intolerances
  • Vegetarian requirements
  • Vegan requirements
  • Gluten-free requirements
  • Other specific dietary needs

Please inform us before your arrival.

Our team will discuss your requirements and, where practical, arrange suitable alternatives.

Specially customized meals may involve an additional charge depending on the ingredients, preparation and dietary requirements.

At The Adhisha, we want you to feel nourished, energized and comfortable throughout your training.

From your first breakfast to your final dinner, our aim is to make food a natural part of your yogic routine—fresh, balanced, varied and prepared with care.

Eat consciously.

Practice deeply.

Nourish completely.

Students should contact the management team directly and provide the specific reason for cancellation or early departure.

We understand that genuine emergencies can occur unexpectedly. If you are unable to continue or attend your scheduled course because of a serious personal, family, medical or other genuine emergency, please contact our management team as soon as possible. Where appropriate, instead of losing your course place, The Adhisha may allow you to postpone your training for up to 6 months. Your completed registration can then be transferred to another available course date within the approved postponement period.

Flexible Rejoining

Once your postponement has been approved, you may choose a suitable available course date within the next six months, subject to course availability. This allows you to continue your Yoga journey without having to begin the entire registration process again.

If a student needs to leave the program after the course has already started, they should immediately inform The Adhisha management team and provide the reason for leaving. In the case of a genuine emergency, course postponement may be considered instead of a refund, allowing the student to complete the training at a later available date within the approved six-month period. Any unused accommodation, meals, classes or other course services are not automatically refundable once the program has commenced.

Please keep the following points in mind before confirming your registration:

  • 20% advance payment is required to secure your place.
  • The 20% advance payment is non-refundable.

SAFETY, SECURITY & ENVIRONMENT

A Safe Space to Learn, Practice & Grow

At The Adhisha, we believe that students can learn and grow most deeply when they feel safe, respected, comfortable and supported. Our aim is to create an environment where students from different countries, cultures and backgrounds can come together as one respectful community and focus on their Yoga journey.

For the safety and security of our students, CCTV cameras are installed throughout the Yogashala, including common areas and different floors. The system helps us maintain a secure environment and respond appropriately if any concern arises. Privacy is respected, and CCTV is not placed in private areas such as bedrooms or bathrooms.

The Adhisha welcomes students from around the world.

We encourage a community based on:

  • Mutual respect
  • Kindness and compassion
  • Cultural understanding
  • Personal boundaries
  • Inclusivity
  • Responsible behaviour
  • Respect for different beliefs and traditions

Every student deserves to feel welcome, valued and respected, regardless of their nationality, culture, language, age, experience or background.

Our team is available to assist students throughout their stay. Whether you need help with a practical concern, transportation, medical assistance, accommodation or general guidance, you can approach our management team. You are never expected to deal with an important concern alone.

Our management team has extensive experience in operating and managing Yoga education environments in Rishikesh. This experience helps us understand the practical needs of international students—from arrival and accommodation to communication, daily routines and emergency support.

In case of an emergency, our team can assist students with:

  • Contacting appropriate medical services
  • Arranging transportation
  • Contacting nearby hospitals or clinics
  • Communicating with family members when appropriate
  • Providing practical assistance during unexpected situations

We also maintain information about nearby medical facilities so that appropriate assistance can be arranged when required.

We aim to maintain a clean, organized and comfortable learning environment throughout the Yogashala. Common areas and facilities are regularly maintained so students can focus on their training without unnecessary distractions.

Yoga teacher training is an intensive experience, and everyone needs time to rest and recharge.

We encourage students and staff to respect:

  • Personal space
  • Quiet hours
  • Privacy
  • Rest time
  • Personal belongings
  • Healthy boundaries

Our goal is to create a community where people can connect deeply while still having the space and privacy they need.

Cleanliness is an important part of our daily environment. The Yogashala and common areas are regularly cleaned, helping maintain a fresh, hygienic and comfortable space for practice and living.

Although The Adhisha is conveniently located within Rishikesh, it is situated away from excessive traffic and unnecessary city noise. This allows students to experience the energy of Rishikesh while still having a peaceful environment for Yoga, meditation, study and rest.

Our students come from different parts of the world, bringing different languages, traditions, beliefs and ways of life. At The Adhisha, cultural diversity is something we value. We encourage students to learn from one another while respecting the individuality and traditions of everyone in the community.

Yoga brings us together without asking us to become the same.

We keep comprehensive first-aid supplies available at the Yogashala and provide assistance with local pharmacy needs, dietary adjustments, and general wellness care so students stay healthy, comfortable, and well-supported throughout their stay.

Our premises are equipped with safety measures including clear emergency exits, accessible fire extinguishers, and well-lit common pathways to ensure a secure, safe environment for all residents day and night.

OUR APPROACH TO SAFETY

Safety at The Adhisha is not limited to physical security. We believe in creating an environment that supports physical safety, emotional wellbeing, respectful communication and personal boundaries. From the moment you arrive until the completion of your training, our team is here to provide guidance and support whenever needed.

WELCOME TO THE ADHISHA COMMUNITY

Come as a student from anywhere in the world. Leave as part of a community connected through Yoga, learning, respect and shared experience.

Safety and support measures are subject to the school's operational policies and local requirements. Students are also responsible for following reasonable safety instructions and taking care of their personal belongings.
